This video was at Topsail Beach, Newfoundland. It wasn't very far from where we stayed. While Ed was busy taking pictures, I met a nice couple that were admiring our son. They said to make Anthony an "Honourary Newfie" we should dip his toes in the Atlantic Ocean. Normally, to become an Honourary Newfie you must take a shot of Newfoundland Screech (Rum). Also called getting "Screeched In". Of course, Anthony is still too young for that. We thought dipping his toes in the ocean was a great idea!

Newfoundland Trip
St. John's has a lot of colourful row houses in a very hilly downtown.
Anthony was a great little traveller. He slept for most of the 3.5 hr plane ride and we were thankful to receive a complimentary seat for him with Westjet. This picture was at O'Reilly's Pub on George Street, where we enjoyed tasty fish & chips and we also met a couple travelling from Inwood near my hometown. It really is a small world.
From the top of Cabot Tower on Signal Hill.
Cape Spear National Park. The eastern most point in North America.
Sunny day at Cabot Tower

Newfoundland cont....
Gorgeous view of St. John's Harbour and downtown from the top of Signal Hill at Cabot Tower. This was our 2nd day of our vacation and the weather was beautiful the whole week.
Ed's cousin Gail was very kind to let us stay at her home. This was the great view we had from her deck in Paradise, Newfoundland. As you can see, the name suits it.
We went on a great Whale Watching boat tour!! The picture isn't enough, you have to experience it. The two humpback whales we saw were doing a great show for us and we got so close. I couldn't believe how big they were. They are majestic to watch.
Bay Bulls, the town where we went whale watching.
Early evening at Topsail Beach. Lots of trees, trails and a beautiful sunset.
