Happy 1st Birthday Anthony!!!

One of his first times on grass. He didn't know what to make of it.
The highlight of the party was watching Anthony eat his birthday cake. It was a very hot, humid day (June 7) and he was not his usual happy self, until we gave him his cake. He went crazy for it!! He was definately the centre of attention then.
Ed held him while we sang Happy Birthday. The heat and all the people were making him upset.
I think this pic says "Momma I'm 1-year old now, but I'm not used to this heat and I want you and Daddy to get me out of this chair right now!" The temp was 30, but felt closer to 40 with the humidity. Also the fact that May was on the cool side, so this was the first taste of heat and humidity.

Grand Bend Weekend

A nice spring day for a walk in the park near our place.
Anthony loves his blocks- and when his dad plays with him.
David took us on his boat. This was Anthony's 1st boat ride. He was scared at first, but it didn't take him too long to get comfortable. We had a great visit. We played the Wii Saturday night, and went for a nice walk Sunday.

Almost 1

Anthony is almost 1 year old! Can't believe it. He is pulling himself up on everything from the coffee table to his crib and standing up in the bath.

Hurray SPRING is Here!

Cyril (Ed's eldest brother) celebrated his 50th Birthday the end of March. Danny and Lisa had everyone over for a nice dinner.
My little man is growing and changing so much (10 mths)
We love our new jogging stroller. With the nicer weather we've been out everyday.

Grand Bend and Meeting New Uncle

Our little baby is growing up...
Ed had the week off and Louise let us stay at her place for a couple nights. We had a nice visit with Uncle David and Louise in Grand Bend.

Saturday we had a nice dinner with my parents and my sister Corey and her new husband Craig Britney. Anthony was excited to meet his new Uncle for the first time.

We have taken Anthony swimming a few times. He is getting used to the water and seems to enjoy it more and more each time. We are looking forward to this summer when we can go swimming outside and to the beach.

We are playing indoors a lot, since it is too cold and snowy out. This is one I took myself. I love how he's looking at me this time. Normally he stares at the camera.

~February Fun~

Anthony loves wrapping himself up while rolling around. His hair sure looks long and thick.

Auntie Corey stayed overnight before her trip to B.C. to see her fiance Craig. We had a fun day going shopping, out for lunch and playing with Anthony. He definately knows who Corey is. His little face lights up with big big smiles when he sees her. Corey loves being an Aunt and she is always picking out nice outfits for Anthony (She is the shopper in the family). Anthony loves it when she visits and he doesn't mind having her share his room. Although this time I think Corey minded a bit, because Anthony was a little restless and kept doing his "leg-ups" then falling back asleep.

Rolling everywhere...Daddy washed up an extra remote control for Anthony to play with. He loves it and rolls towards it all the time!
First hair cut! 7.5 months old. Dad cut the front and Mom trimmed the back. Now his hair isn't getting in his eyes.

We celebrated Ed's 40th Birthday after Christmas! He is very happy to be a Daddy. He loved the cake I baked for him!
